2 – Have 2 riders with an average rating over 40 - PASSED
3 – Exceed this seasons number of results - PASSED (technically)
It's been an interesting season for Indaiatuba, one that has seen the growth and improvement of previous seasons finally turn into results. The team started their year in division 5, unable to compete with the much bigger teams around them. They used this time to gain experience and focus on improving the team, making their first ever foray into the transfer market with the signing of veteran hill sprinter Augustijn Terhorst.
Unfortunately, future hopeful Roger Museveni wasn't able to realize his potential, but Rubert Smidt improved dramatically, becoming the strongest rider on the team. He showed his quality when he took home the team's first ever proper victory, winning in division 9 and then 8. Terhorst also took home a win in division 8, and both riders followed up with a number of strong results in divisions 7 and 6, leaving the team just a few points away from getting back to where they started the season in 5.
Despite working hard, the team wasn't able to get those final points they wanted to push on to the next division, but remain confident that they'll get there before long. It was a disappointing end to the season, a result in their final race would have seen the team become the top ranked Brazilian side. But Indaiatuba still got 7 results this year, 4 more than were achieved last year (above division 10).
